A Sonoma, California-based HVAC construction contractor has won a contract to plumbing and piping systems for San Francisco State University’s Recreation & Wellness Center.

Peterson Mechanical Inc. will perform the work under general contractor C.W. Driver.

Construction is to start later this year and be completed by late 2016, officials said.

The facility will include a dual-court gymnasium, aquatic fitness center, weight rooms, racquetball courts, a climbing wall and indoor jogging track. Classrooms and offices are also planned.
