The AHR Expo has a new public relations agency.

New York-based Parker PR Inc. will now be handling promotion of the annual HVAC construction trade show, replacing longtime representative H&A International Inc. of Chicago.

Parker will now act as official media liaison for the International Exposition Co.’s AHR Expo and its biennial Chem Show, which targets the process equipment and technology industry.

“We are more than thrilled to be taking this new step with International Exposition Co. and look forward to forging a true partnership that will result in mutual, meaningful and long-term success,” said Jennifer Parker, president of Parker PR. “Realizing that the built environment plays a significant part in how the world at-large can live better, smarter and more sustainable lives, Parker PR was founded on a dedication to ‘telling your building a better tomorrow story.’ This has included a focus in the heating, cooling and ventilation markets, on both a national and international scope, as well as extensive experience in supporting the success of our multi-industry clients in maximizing exhibition investments in the U.S. and overseas.”

Parker PR’s staff has three decades of experience in the HVAC sales industry, she added.

Clay Stevens, president of the Connecticut-based International Exposition Co., said he is looking forward to working with the firm.

“We work hard to promote our shows and let people know the many benefits of exhibiting and attending,” Stevens said. “We’re looking forward to working with Parker PR as they come alongside us and bring their talent and expertise to bear on our communication efforts.”

The 2016 AHR Expo will take place Jan. 25-27 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
