Vero Software says its recently launched Edgecam 2015 R2 computer-aided design and manufacturing software contains a number of enhanced features for milling, turning and wire electrical discharge machining. Highlights include an upgrade to the multi-spindle lathe setup, a new port machining module for its five-axis cycle and significant time savings through the enhanced hole cycle. The advanced five-axis cycle feature includes a new port machining module, offering both roughing and finishing strategies. Users can also measure work pieces and simulate probe movements with six individual probing cycles which have been enhanced with eight new functions.
