A controller from Distech Controls was a winner in an HVAC construction industry trade magazine’s design awards competition.

The Eclypse Connected System Controller took a Bronze Award in the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration News’ Dealer Design Awards.

The Eclypse is a modular, platform providing BACnet-standard wired and wireless connectivity. The type and number of modules can be modified to needed requirements. Distech said it can be accessed from anywhere.

“We are thrilled to accept this distinguished award, celebrating design ingenuity and innovation in HVACR products,” said Distech President and CEO Etienne Veilleux. “It is a testament to our forward-thinking design process that keeps the needs of our partners at its core. By delivering innovative products and solutions for complex systems, we facilitate the work of contractors and technicians while optimizing user experience and customer satisfaction.”

Products were judged by a panel of independent HVAC market contractors.

"These awards give us a unique opportunity to recognize the outstanding research and development efforts that go into many of the products serving the HVACR industry,” said ACHR News Publisher Mike Murphy. “The awards issue gives our readers an opportunity to read about innovative installation and service solutions."
