A Texas community college now has new HVAC construction training facilities, thanks in part to Trane.

Officials with the HVAC market company were to take part in a June 10 ribbon-cutting ceremony at historic building in Cleburne, Texas, that now houses HVAC market laboratories.

One of three such HVAC construction facilities on campus, the 3,000-square-foot labs include two water-source heat pumps donated by Trane. They were designed by Trane, Hill College and the National Coalition of Certification Centers.

“Hill College is committed to preparing our students to successfully compete for jobs while providing qualified technicians to fill our community’s business needs,” said Pamela Boehm, president of Hill College. “We are excited to introduce the spaces for these new cutting-edge laboratories and updated curriculum which will allow our students to learn using the latest in innovative HVAC solutions and controls.”
