International Roofing Expo organizers are looking for industry experts to speak at next year’s event.

The 2016 expo will take place Feb. 17-19 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., and will feature a number of educational programs as part of its technical program.

“We are seeking high-profile speakers and top-notch industry innovators well-versed in the most relevant topics and issues facing roofing professionals today,” said senior conference manager Brandi McElhaney. “We encourage you to submit a proposal if you have something challenging, substantive and original to offer.”

The submission deadline is April 15.

Topics should focus on leadership and business management issues, green or zero energy building, legal issues, money matters, sales and service or general business. And presentations should be non-promotional.

“The conference offers speakers the opportunity to establish their position as industry experts to a broad range of roofing professionals," said National Roofing Contractors Association Executive Vice President Bill Good.

The NRCA is the show’s official sponsor.

“We encourage members, associate members and others involved with the industry to submit their proposals as soon as possible,” Good said.
