ASHRAE is seeking the public’s input on revisions to one of its indoor air quality HVAC construction guidelines.

The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers guideline No. 24 was written as a companion to the society’s Standard 62.2, which covers ventilation in low-rise residential structures.

The guideline offers additional materials and information. This is the first time ASHRAE has attempted to revise the HVAC market guideline since 2008, committee chairman Paul Francisco said.

The revisions cover envelope and system design, materials, commissioning, installation, operation and maintenance. Anyone interested in commenting can go to www.ashrae.org/standardsactions.
