Mitsubishi Electric wins green HVAC award
The U.S. Green Building Council has selected Mitsubishi Electric as a Best of Building Award winner.
The peer-chosen award — which celebrates the year’s best products, projects, organizations and individuals making an impact in green building — recognized the company’s variable-refrigerant-flow zoning systems in the Best Product for HVAC/Indoor Air Quality/Building Controls category.
“We are honored and excited to be selected as one of USGBC’s Best of Building Award winners,” said Allan Dziwoki, Mitsubishi Electric’s senior vice president of sales, marketing and operations. “This competition demonstrates the importance of innovation in green building, and we’re thrilled to see our VRF zoning systems recognized in this prestigious category.”
USGBC Chief Operating Officer Mahesh Ramanujam congratulated Mitsubishi Electric on its achievement.
“USGBC’s membership represents a diverse community of leaders that have made significant contributions to the advancement of green building,” Ramanujam said. “We congratulate Mitsubishi Electric, as these peer-chosen awards reflect new and innovative achievements that are to be commended.”
