The 2014 refrigeration handbook from the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers covers a variety of applications for refrigeration equipment and systems. The 51-chapter handbook includes information on cooling, freezing and storing food; industrial applications of refrigeration; and low-temperature refrigeration. ASHRAE officials have also stated that the handbook’s chapters on ammonia and carbon dioxide refrigeration systems have been updated. Members may subscribe for $29 to get access to all four volumes of the handbook.
