HVAC distributor Gustave A. Larson Co. has opened its new training center in Plymouth, Minn.

It was designed to train contractors on installing and servicing ductless and variable refrigerant flow HVAC systems made by Mitsubishi Electric. Classes are held at least monthly and range from four hours to two days in length.

“The new center is a welcome addition,” said Byron Schlager, a regional general manager with Larson. “Before the opening of this facility, training sessions were held without the hands-on experience, either in the field or at local Gustave A. Larson Co. branches.”

The 2,000-square-foot center is part of Larson’s 48,000-square-foot district office complex.
