ACCA has launched a new website and online service center for member HVAC contracting businesses.

Officials with the Air Conditioning Contractors of America say the redesigned website, located at, focuses on helping homeowners and building managers make better decisions regarding their indoor environment systems.

“Hundreds of thousands of consumers visit ACCA’s website every year, looking for a quality contractor,” said David Kyle, ACCA national senior vice chairman and president of Trademasters in Virginia. “Since ACCA’s goal is to improve the quality of indoor environment systems and energy efficiency nationwide, it only made sense to make consumer outreach our number one online priority. There are a lot of contractors, and it’s vital that consumers make the right decision when choosing one.”

Features of the new website include videos for homeowners and building managers, and a map-based search function that allows customers to locate nearby ACCA member contractors.

The association’s new member service center, which is located at, includes a video library of nearly 200 exclusive seminars and training programs. The online service center is free to all association members.

“The world has changed and contractors want access to good training, but we want it on our own schedule at a place that is convenient for us,” said Bobby Ring, ACCA national chairman and president of Meyer & Depew in New Jersey. “With this new online platform, we can get new ideas and answers to our questions whenever we need them, in addition to what is available in some areas at local meetings. Best of all, we now have access to the best minds in our industry from all over the country, not just our own backyard.”
