Seven students will share $20,000 to fund their educations, thanks to the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors National Association.

The scholarships come from the PHCC’s educational foundation, the South Jersey Mechanical Contractors Association, the PHCC Auxiliary of Massachusetts, PHCC’s past national officers and a contribution by Anne Williams.

 The scholarship winners include:

$5,000 award recipient Evan Womble of Durham, N.C., who will be attending Campbell University;

$2,500 recipient Joshua Anderson of Iowa City, Iowa, who is enrolled in the Kirkwood Community College plumbing program;

$2,500 recipient Zachary Charland of Hubbardston, Mass., who is enrolled at Worcester Polytechnic Institute pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering;

$2,500 recipient Adam Christopher Girardi of Bonita, Calif., who will be enrolling in the San Diego PHCC plumbing apprentice program;

$2,500 recipient Alex Moses of Cambridge, Minn., who is enrolled at University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering;

$2,500 recipient Brian Prenger of Huntington Beach, Calif., who is enrolled in the PHCC Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties apprentice program;

$2,500 recipient Eric Teran of El Cajon, Calif., who will be enrolling in the San Diego PHCC apprentice program.
