The first Construction Americas trade show is set for next year.

Sponsored by Florida International University’s construction school, the March 26-27, 2015, conference will take place on the school’s Miami campus.

Speakers are to include construction executives, trade magazine editors and technology experts.

“Construction Americas will explore the future of construction including trends, technologies, and practices with a focus on the Americas” said Irtishad Ahmad, Ph.D., P.E., director of the university’s construction school. “The blend of practitioner and academia located at the apex of the American continents will truly be a much-needed construction think tank.”
