Dexter & Chaney opens up software licenses
HVAC construction software maker Dexter & Chaney will allow companies using its Spectrum construction software to give all employees access to its “dashboard” without the need for additional licenses.
The Spectrum Dashboard includes many pre-installed applications that workers can place on their desktops. The apps, which include job cost reports, change orders and cash flow updates, work with Spectrum’s database. Authorized workers can modify apps and create custom versions.
“The value of software isn’t just in the depth of its features,” said Dexter & Chaney Chief Executive Officer John Chaney. “Value also depends on the breadth of accessibility. Everyone in a company needs reliable, up-to-date information to do their job. With the new all-access Dashboard, Spectrum makes it significantly easier to keep all employees informed, keep them equipped with information, and help them work better together.”
