Owners of MovinCool air conditioners can now receive access via their smartphones to online warranty and service support information — thanks to the company’s new quick-response code service link feature.
By scanning the QR code on a MovinCool unit with a smartphone, users are immediately connected to the MovinCool website, where they can register their unit for coverage under MovinCool’s three-year manufacturer’s warranty, company officials say.
Once registered, users can verify the unit’s current warranty coverage period, view dealer contact information, find out where to call for service support and get answers to frequently asked questions. They can also download operation manuals, service manuals and spare parts catalogs.
