Hercules Industries has signed an agreement with Nest Labs to distribute the company’s products.
Google-owned Nest is best known for its Wi-Fi-enabled Learning Thermostat, which programs itself to save energy, and the Nest Protect, a smoke and carbon monoxide alarm.
“Through our distribution agreement with Hercules, Nest will be able to extend the benefits of our products and services to consumers in Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico,” said Gene LaNois, general manager of professional channel distribution at Nest. “We are excited to partner with Hercules and their extensive distribution networks.”
Hercules, which says it is one of the nation’s largest manufacturers and distributors of HVAC and sheet metal equipment, said it was happy to add Nest to its products list.
“We are very excited about adding Nest to our residential products offering,” said sales and marketing Vice President Paul Newland. “Hercules Industries philosophy is to continually find ways to help our customers grow and enhance their business, and Nest is a perfect fit. We’ve seen new technology coming into HVAC and Hercules has had terrific success bringing this technology to our customers. Nest’s products are packed with the innovation homeowners’ desire.”
