An HVAC testing equipment distributor is encouraging Refrigeration Service Engineers Society members to pursue certification.
TruTech Tools Ltd. has created the TruTech Scholar Award, which will be given every three months to the society member who earns the highest score on its certificate-member and certificate-member specialist exam. The member with the top score receives a $100 gift certificate.
“We are excited to partner with TruTech to further motivate our members to further their education in our industry,” said RSES International President Joe Marchese.
The first awards were given in December. Glenn Guzman, who had the highest overall certificate-member exam score, and Samuel David Cooley, who passed the HVACR electrical exam with the highest overall specialist score.
The winners of the award from the January-March quarter are Brandon C. Davis and John Singel, who tied for the highest certificate-member score, and Art Houston, who passed the HVACR electrical exam with the highest overall score.
