Lititz, Pa.-based Haller Enterprises has been picked by the Air Conditioning Contractors of America as the group’s 2014 Commercial Contractor of the Year.

“Again this year we had a number of innovative commercial contractors apply for this award,” said association President and CEO Paul T. Stalknecht. “Our judges always have an extremely tough decision to make when they pick the recipient of this award. This year’s winner, Haller Enterprises, illustrates the characteristics that all of the best commercial contractors in the country have in common.”

Haller’s business strategy of partnering with the HVAC industry and the surrounding community made it a standout, officials said.

The company, which operates several locations, has been in business since 1981.

“We are absolutely thrilled and filled with pride at being awarded the ACCA Commercial Contractor of the Year,” said John Michel, president of Haller Enterprises. “We feel it is a complete team effort by all the members of our Haller team. This is a major achievement and we appreciate every day the opportunity to serve all of our Haller customers.”

The company was scheduled to receive the award March 19 during the ACCA’s annual conference in Nashville, Tenn.
