HVAC manufacturer Carrier will have a major presence at the New American Home show house in Henderson, Nev., a part of the International Builders’ Show this week in Las Vegas.

Carrier’s Infinity 98 gas furnace with Greenspeed — capable of up to a 98 percent annual fuel utilization efficiency rating — and the Infinity 20 adaptable-speed heat pump with Greenspeed are built into the house. The Infinity 20 offers a seasonal energy efficiency ratio up to 20.5.

Also part of the house is the Carrier Performance ductless mini-split system, which offers up to five-room zoning.

The house is designed to display the latest technologies available to the home construction industry. It is part the Builders’ Show, which takes place today through Thursday at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. Attendees have the chance to board a chartered bus and tour the house.

“We’re proud to be a part of The New American Home 2014,” said David Meyers, Carrier’s vice president of sales and distribution for residential and light commercial systems. “Being able to showcase Carrier products in an actual home allows our equipment to speak for itself while being on display for the some of the country’s leading builders.”
