RAE Corp. is raising prices.

Price increases from 2 percent to 4 percent took effect Jan. 2 on the products from the HVAC company’s Century Refrigeration, RAE Coils, refrigeration and technical systems divisions.

Company officials blamed the worldwide economy, noting that RAE has maintained pricing for more than two years.

“At this point, we can no longer buffer our valued customers from rising input costs and are passing along a modest increase so we can continue to provide the value our customers find in RAE Corp.,” said Vice President of Sales Kevin Trowhill. “We refuse to sacrifice quality or customer service to save a few pennies and will continue to deliver excellence to our customers across all facets of our business.”
