HVAC manufacturer and distributor Jackson Systems LLC is donating to children who attend school in one of the city’s impoverished neighborhoods.

The company will give gloves, school supplies, books, fruit, candy and stage a classroom party for the pupils.

The children especially love the fruit and books, Jackson Systems officials said.

“We feel honored to be welcomed into school No. 49 to share this holiday party with the kids and faculty again this year,” said company Chief Executive Officer Tom Jackson. “It is a treat to see the excitement and happiness it brings to the kids, as well as to our team members who volunteer.”

Others donating to the school include National Trade Supply, PC-Help, Direct Connect Printing, Cardinal Insurance, Snap-On Tools, Marian University and the U.S. Army.
