Ferguson Enterprises marked its 60th year of business with a record performance.

The Newport News, Va.-based HVAC distributor increased its revenue more than 10 percent, ending the 2013 fiscal year with $10.6 billion in sales, the company said. Trading profits increased 27 percent from last year, and the trading margin reached a record peak of 7.3 percent.

Ferguson CEO Frank Roach says he is proud of what the company has accomplished in its sixth decade.

“We had a record performance in an economy that provided us with little growth opportunity,” he said. “Our success was the culmination of many things including a consistent business strategy, our commitment to providing world-class customer service and the hard work of our associates.”

The company celebrated its milestone year with its nationwide “60 Days of Caring” campaign, where over 225 Ferguson locations joined in providing approximately 20,000 pounds of food to 101 nonprofit organizations throughout the country.
