Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating Division hosted its Diamond Contractor Conference series Sept. 9-11 at the Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta Hotel in Duluth, Ga.

The two-day event, which brought over 170 certified members of Mitsubishi Electric’s Diamond Contractor Program, consisted of networking and training workshops to educate contractors on the business-building benefits of ductless technology. Guest speakers of the conference included motivational speaker Tony Jeary, who spoke on how to maximize a business’ cultural effectiveness, and Weldon Long, who delivered his seminar, “Power of Consistency:  Four Simple Steps to Make Sales and Business Success Inevitable.”

“Mitsubishi Electric’s success is largely due to contractors who have made a commitment to our company by not only selling our products exceptionally well, but going above and beyond by pursuing educational and training opportunities required to earn the Diamond contractor status,” said Bud Nardello, vice president of sales at Mitsubishi Electric. “Providing the contractors with tools to grow their businesses is one of the many benefits that comes with being a Diamond contractor, and a way of showing our steadfast appreciation and support.”

The conference series is the latest addition to Mitsubishi Electric’s exclusive Diamond contractor package, which is geared towards helping contractors grow their businesses. The company says contractors must meet training, sales and licensing requirements in order to obtain Diamond status.
