Organizers of next year’s International Roofing Expo are finalizing the educational lineup for the Feb. 26-28, 2014, conference.

Forty-four sessions on topics such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, sales, safety and marketing are planned. An estimated 90 percent of the sessions are new, according to show officials.

“Education is a vital component to growing your business and being profitable in today’s market,” said Tracy Garcia, expo director. “To help attendees better confront roofing challenges today, attendees can choose from 44 knowledge-building sessions covering best practices, tactics and techniques.”

Each session is 90 minutes long and times are staggered to allow attendees maximum time on the trade show floor. The expo will be held at the Mandalay Bay convention facility in Las Vegas.

Organizers have submitted the classes for continuing-education credit approval.

"Not only does the International Roofing Expo showcase the industry’s latest roofing products, services and equipment, it is also where the industry turns for business solutions, education and networking," said Bill Good, executive vice president of the National Roofing Contractors Association, the show’s official sponsor.
