The City by the Bay will be the location for ASHRAE’s next conference on energy-efficient structures.

The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers will hold its next High Performing Buildings Conference April 7-8, 2014, at the Hyatt Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco.

“The 2014 HPB conference provides a unique opportunity for dialog among attendees to facilitate understanding of current indoor environmental quality and energy saving efforts and to share best practices for achieving high-performance buildings,” said conference chairman Kent Peterson.

New subjects scheduled for the 2014 conference include water efficiency, the behavior of building occupants, technology and indoor environmental quality. Speakers and scheduled presentations will be announced later this year.
