Although it won’t take place for months, 78 percent of the exhibit space for the 2014 International Roofing Expo has already been reserved, officials said.

“A total of 275 companies were assigned 814 booths during the early space draw process,” said show director Lindsay Roberts. “The show floor is already tracking 6 percent larger than the 2013 show, and there is still more than eight months of selling time until the show.”

Companies already assigned spaces for the Feb. 26-28 event in Las Vegas include Carlisle, Atlas Roofing, Tamko Building Products, Johns Manville and Metalforming.

“The number of companies committing to booth space this far in advance of the show is quite impressive,” said Bill Good, executive vice president of the National Roofing Contractors Association, the event’s official sponsor. “This promises to be another exciting, must-see event for the roofing industry.”

Karen Edwards, marketing director at EagleView Technologies and Pictometry International, said her companies were looking forward to attending.

“Technology changes rapidly and the International Roofing Expo is our opportunity to showcase the new technology solutions that we have developed over the last year,” she said. “International Roofing Expo is a great venue where we can connect with our existing customers and engage new ones.”

Trade show space is already selling briskly for the 2014 International Roofing Expo, organizers say.
