This fall’s Metalcon trade show will have a new section for attendees to check out: Metal in Action.
Combining the best of the former residential and commercial demonstration, solar products and tool areas, it will offer plenty of spectator seats and tables.
“We formed Metal in Action by capturing input from presenters and attendees and acting on it,” said show director Claire Kilcoyne. “This new setup allows all presenters to show more detailed techniques. For the MCA (Metal Construction Association) demos, it leaves in place the full-size mockups of roof applications so attendees can view them up close any time during show hours.”
Metalcon International takes place Oct. 1-3 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
The Solar Bay Live area will have a different scheduled speaker each day of the conference, who will talk about why metal and sun-based energy are a good combination.
“We’re especially excited about the solar part of the mix because it gives attendees more time to absorb all the details of how and why metal and solar are such a good match,” Kilcoyne said.
The former Tool Day event has been turned into a three-day-long chance for attendees to test out the new products to make work easier.
