Developed by Maryland-based Mosaic Learning, the e-readers offer a way to easily read and download content.
“This will be an invaluable tool for instructors to print exercises and handouts right from the curriculum,” said Larry Lawrence, a field representative and instructional development specialist with the union-affiliated institute. “The ITI felt that developing an application that would allow the user to highlight text, place notes, search text and print from the application would be a win-win for all of us.”
Although the application was only available for the iPad when introduced in April, the ITI launched a version for laptops, desktops and tablets running on the Windows operating system.
