“We are pleased to continue to build the number and diversity of the NATE-recognized CEU courses available for NATE-certified technicians,” said Don Frendberg, chairman of the association’s board. “These courses will help them stay current on the latest in HVACR service and installation and to maintain their specialty certifications. While they are available on a national scale, we encourage technicians to frequently visit the listing of training locations on the NATE website to find the in-person or online courses most convenient to them.”
The certification organization requires technicians attend at least 60 hours of classes for each specialty where they are seeking to be certified.
Among the new classes approved by NATE include course on airflow from M&M Manufacturing Co., geothermal installation by Bard Manufacturing Co. and metering devices by R.E. Michel Co. Inc.
