Jackson Systems has added occupancy sensors and control of fans, lighting and plug loads to its Web Comfort wireless thermostat control system.

It now comes with software to control all major building energy consumption areas and can communicate with the Web Comfort Manager program.

“With these new capabilities, we are able to offer contractors a total energy management system for a fraction of the cost of a full-blown DDC (direct-digital control) system,” said company CEO Tom Jackson. “The Web Comfort Wirelessly Communicating Thermostat system uses a secure, Zigbee mesh network. Each device acts as a repeater, passing the signal in a daisy chain sequence to seamlessly communicate back to the Web Comfort Manager.”
