Reflective insulation manufacturer Covertech announced that the Canadian company has been granted three U.S. patents.

The patents cover the use of reflective insulation materials using metalized polymeric film to give Class A thermal insulation. They include polystyrene foam, closed-cell foam, polypropylene and polyethylene foam, radiant barriers and multilayer assemblies.

“(These) latest patents significantly expand the scope of our patent portfolio,” said John Starr, the vice president of Covertech. “We are pleased to offer this group of patents for licensing on reasonable terms.”
