Mitsubishi Electric’s HVAC division has introduced Diamond System Builder, a layout program for engineers.

The software makes selecting equipment for designing Mitsubishi’s City Multi variable refrigerant flow zoning and split-ductless HVAC systems easier. It replaces the company’s Design Tool program. The new software includes built-in tests for line lengths, component selections and connection capabilities.

“Our goal is to make our products as easy and efficient to use as possible, from design and specification, to installation and operation,” said Mike Smith, senior marketing manager of commercial products for Mitsubishi Electric’s U.S. cooling and heating division. “The new Diamond System Builder includes upgrades that will improve the experience engineers have specifying our products.”
