A Georgia-based HVAC wholesaler is donating to victims of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.

Packard Inc. CEO Tom Campbell said he would give 2 percent of proceeds from certain U.S.-made products sold from May 1 through July 4 to One Fund Boston, a charity set up to help victims of the April 15 Boston Marathon bombing.

Qualifying products include compressors, capacitors, motors, fan blades and accessories.

“The recent tragic events that have unfolded in Boston have impacted us all as a nation,” Campbell said. “Buying U.S.A.-made products shows support for our economy, our workforce and is a testament to the strength of this nation. But more importantly, it is our hope that together, with our partnering brands, we can raise significant contributions to help those individuals and families directly impacted by these unspeakable events as they begin to rebuild their lives.”
