Ron Forman and Peter McCarriston were the winners of Lochinvar’s VIP installation showcase and the VIP drawing in January.

Forman of JP Heating of Northern Michigan in Gaylord, Mich., was named the VIP showcase winner, while McCarriston of McCarriston Plumbing & Heating in Swampscott, Mass., won the VIP drawing. The two contractors were winners of Lochinvar’s Nashville Experience, an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Nashville, Tenn., for a country music festival in June.

Forman’s submission for the installation showcase described a recent retrofit at a school in northern Michigan. He and his team replaced three 1 million Btu per hour boilers with three 800,000 Btu per hour Knight XL commercial boilers, which are controlled by a building management system. With up to 94.6 percent thermal efficiency, the company said the Knight XL helped to increase energy efficiency and reduce the school’s operating costs.

“This was a very successful efficiency retrofit, and we’re really pleased that it was named a winner in the VIP showcase,” said Forman. “I’m excited to meet the team at Lochinvar headquarters as part of the Nashville Experience in June.”

McCarrison, the second winner, will also be going on the Nashville trip. His registration card for a recent boiler installation was randomly selected in the monthly drawing, earning him and a guest a spot on the trip.

Every registration of a high-efficiency Knight Solution or Knight XL Boiler earns participating approved contractors a $25 Visa reward card, as well as an entry into the drawing. For every registered Squire Indirect Water Heater, Lochinvar also sends the contractor a $10 reward card.

“I’m really happy that my registration card was picked in the January drawing, and I can’t wait to join the group in Nashville this summer,” said McCarriston. “It definitely pays to be a VIP.”
