Members’ work is more than just duct cleaning — that is what NADCA will aim to show attendees of its 24th annual meeting and exposition.

The National Air Duct Cleaners Association will bring its conference to the New Orleans Marriott March 15-18.

There will be several opportunities to explore the topic of cleaning and remediation, but NADCA is also offering a number of educational sessions to help contractors with their business and profitability.

On March 17, NADCA will present these sessions:

At 7 a.m., attendees can join a session called “How to Make Social Media Work for Your Small Business.” At 10 a.m., “Recent Developments in Labor Law” will be offered. At 1:45 p.m. NADCA will hold a business-to-business marketing session called “What a Small Business Owner Should Know about Commercial Marketing in the Service Industry.” The last educational session of the day will be held at 3 p.m. and will cover “Fall Protection.”

Opportunities will be available during the conference to earn certifications. On March 15, courses will be held to train for NADCA certifications. At 8 a.m., NADCA will offer its “Air Systems Cleaning Specialist Training to the ACR Standard” as well as the “Certification Ventilation Inspector.” Also at 8 a.m., attendees can choose to take the “Ventilation System Mold Remediator Designation Course and Bridging Exam.” Various certification exams will be offered at 8:30 a.m. March 18.

Rounding out the NADCA event will be the group’s annual trade show. Attendees can see the latest duct cleaning and remediation products. Live demonstrations of the products will be offered on the expo floor.
