The Breast Cancer Research Foundation has received $107,000 from flashlight manufacturer Streamlight Inc.

The foundation is a not-for-profit organization with the mission of preventing and curing breast cancer.

“Breast cancer affects millions of women and their families, and Streamlight is proud to continue doing our part to help raise money for a cure,” said Loring Grove, Streamlight’s global brand manager, and a breast cancer survivor.

To date, Streamlight has donated nearly $336,000 to the foundation from sales proceeds of its “pink” flashlight products, designed to raise awareness of the disease. The company donates $5 from each sale of its recently introduced Pink Strion LED tactical light, as well as $1 from sales of pink versions of its Nano Light and 2AA ProPolymer flashlights.
