NATE awards Golden Toolbox
Charles White of Repairs Inc. was awarded the Golden Toolbox Award from NATE. The award recognizes individuals who have promoted HVACR technician certification.
Charles White, president of Repairs Inc., is the latest winner of NATE’s Golden Toolbox Award.
North American Technician Excellence says it presents the award to an outstanding HVAC professional who has supported and advocated for technician certification.
White, who is also vice president of technical and code services for the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association, began his career as a technician in 1978. He is NATE certified in four service categories and three installation categories, and he has been an active member of NATE’s technical committee since 2002.
“We’re thrilled to present Chuck White with this year’s Golden Toolbox Award,” said Don Frendberg, chairman of the NATE board of directors. “Chuck has demonstrated his dedication to the NATE mission of promoting industry excellence through his own certification achievements and his work to uphold the high standards of NATE testing as part of the technical committee.”
White said receiving the award was an honor and that he takes pride in being recognized by NATE.
“My goal is to use my experience to help maintain the integrity of this industry, and I support NATE certification because it provides an ideal platform for verifying the knowledge and expertise of HVACR technicians,” he said.
