The National Association of Home Builder is looking for a few good — and green — projects.

The group is now accepting nominations to its 2013 NAHBGreen Awards. The program recognizes people, projects, companies and groups for outstanding sustainable practices and advocacy efforts.

"The NAHBGreen Awards showcase the best and most innovative work in green," said NAHB Chairman Barry Rutenberg, a builder from Gainesville, Fla. "This is an excellent opportunity for industry professionals to be recognized for their hard work."

NAHB membership is not required. Projects must have been started not sooner than January 2010 and generally completed by December 2012. Entries must be received by Oct. 18. Categories and entry details are available at www.nahbgreen.org.
