Property damage restoration and humidity control services company MCS has changed its name to Polygon. The name change went into effect Nov. 1.

On Oct. 1, the MCS division was separated from Munters Group and established as an independent company. As part of the separation from Munters, the company decided to change its name to Polygon, an established name in Sweden and other Nordic regions.

“Currently we operate under a few different brand names across the world, and with our vision for our company of significant investment and growth in mind, we have taken the opportunity to create a unified new name and distinct global brand for ourselves, said Michael Berg, CEO of Polygon. “In deciding upon the new name, it was important to us that we do not lose the great reputation we have and it is our strong belief that our new name must come directly from what we do, how we do it and how it benefits our people and our customers.”
