The Harris Products Group has introduced its Inferno Air Fuel Tips, which the company says will improve brazing and soldering flame efficiencies for HVACR contractors. The Inferno tips were designed based on feedback from HVACR and plumbing contractors throughout the country. The company says that contractors requested a “hot” torch that heats the pipe quickly and consistently. In addition, they requested consistency in the equipment and its performance. Contractors reported purchasing various size tips of a particular brand and finding performance differences among the tips with some tips flaring and performing inconsistently. Inferno tips are compatible with all quick connect air-fuel handles including TurboTorch, Lenox, Uniweld and Goss. The tips are designed for use with common fuel gases including acetylene, propane and propylene. They are available in a full range of sizes that can soft solder up to 6 inches and braze up to 4 inches.
