Howard Bros. Electric in Charlotte, N.C., was the winner of an Orange County Chopper custom motorcycle courtesy of AirTight and American Power Conversion.
The company won the bike after participating in a nationwide sales event held by APC-Schneider Electric. AirTight’s Ryan Gunto started the bike for the first time for Howard Bros. employees and attendees. Jeff Malcolm, of Howard Bros., was the first to ride the bike at the Feb. 18 event.
“We are honored to have received such a great prize and being one of eight choppers awarded nationwide is even better,” said David Latour, owner of Howard Bros.
Numerous electrical contractors and engineering firms from the Charlotte region were in attendance.
“This really turned out to be a great event, the fact that we were giving eight choppers nationwide, it was especially exciting to see one of the electrical contractors from Charlotte win,” said Greg Crumpton, president and founder of AirTight.
