Engineered Controls Inc. was the recipient of Honeywell’s Contractor of the Year Award.

The company, with offices in Lincoln, Neb., and Omaha, Neb., and Clive, Iowa, provides building controls, system design and installation to customers.

“Engineered Controls earned this important designation through its exceptional performance,” said Dave Molin, general manager of Honeywell Building Control Systems. “Engineered Controls has demonstrated a commitment to participate in green building projects that leverage Honeywell’s energy-efficient technology.”

Engineered Controls grew its Honeywell business with projects that included a five-year, campus-wide renovation of Boys Town, a new U.S. Air Force weather station, and a renovation project for a medical center that incorporates a Honeywell integrated, environmental control system.
