Daikin, McQuay open HVAC training facility

Daikin and McQuay announced the opening of a 32,000-square-foot interactive showroom and training facility in Jersey City, N.J.
“The Daikin McQuay Solutions Plaza represents a significant investment toward servicing the needs of engineers and customers in the New York area market,” said Ron Hanlon, chief operating officer of McQuay Americas. “Engineers in the New York area specify some of the world’s largest and most complex HVAC systems and we want them to know we are committed to being directly involved with helping to solve design challenges and giving them access to the most current industry-leading technologies from Daikin and McQuay.”
From the 21st floor, the Daikin McQuay Solutions Plaza offers a panoramic view of lower Manhattan, the World Financial Center complex, the World Trade Center construction site and the Statue of Liberty. The facility is available to customers, building owners, architects, engineers and contractors and showcases the latest Daikin and McQuay equipment, systems, solutions and aftermarket services. The showroom will feature full-sized product displays, interactive information kiosks, as well as displays to demonstrate product features and Daikin and McQuay-specific advantages. The facility also includes training and meeting facilities.
