The Falcon FXA is a new small-gantry cutting machine from Esab. The machine features a heavy-duty gantry, rack-and-pinion drives, digital AC drive amplifiers and AC brushless motors. The Falcon FXA comes standard-equipped with three tools, including two oxy-fuel torches and one plasma, and covers a 6-inch by 12-inch working area. These process tools allow this machine to process stainless steel or aluminum plates up to 1-inch thick or carbon steel plates up to 6 inches thick. Plates up to 6-feet wide and up to 12-feet long can be cut on either water or downdraft cutting tables. The Falcon FXA can carry Esab plasma systems from simple 60-amp air plasma up to 200-amp dual-gas, water-cooled plasma systems. The plasma station also includes arc voltage height control for accurate cutting, and a magnetic breakaway crash protection system prevents torch damage in case of tipped parts. The heavy-duty torch lifter features a linear rail for stability and provides 8 inches of vertical stroke.

Officials say Big Foot Systems is the new generation of alternative equipment mounting that replaces old methods of corrosion-prone landscape timbers or labor-intensive, welded metal fabrications onsite. Big Foot Systems consists of prefabricated 1.6-square-inch corrosion-resistant, hot-dipped galvanized tube modules supported by 1-square-foot ultraviolet-protected, glass-filled nylon footings with anti-vibration mat bases. The systems are available in three standard module packages: 4.3 feet by 3.3 feet, 4.3 feet by 6.6 feet or 4.3 feet by 9.8 feet. Systems can also be custom-fabricated with free 48-hour design services to fit any equipment size, weight or configuration.
