Emerson Climate Technologies has a new program to reward contractors who complete its training courses.

The company’s contractor recognition program gives technicians and firms credits for classes completed and discounts on future training. So far, about 400 contractors have signed up, Emerson said.

“Emerson Educational Services has the HVAC industry’s broadest offering of refrigeration and refrigeration controls training, available through a variety of channels to meet contractor needs,” said Larry Banas, director of educational services for Emerson Climate Technologies. “This program provides recognition and incentives for technicians and firms to invest in their people and organizations.”

Courses include studies on compressor technology, refrigeration troubleshooting and scroll technology.
