Trane's regional office will help the area's energy-efficiency efforts, officials said.

Trane's New York-New Jersey office has been approved as a "Pay for Performance" partner by New Jersey's Clean Energy Program.

The program, run by the Garden State's public utilities board, gives incentives to commercial and industries businesses that upgrade their buildings' energy efficiency.

"We share the New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program commitment to energy efficiency and look forward to helping participants assess their energy use and develop comprehensive energy management plans that can benefit their bottom line and the environment,” said Steve Wey, vice president of Trane's two-state office.
