Mechanical Service Contractors of America and charity Convoy of Hope are donating merchandise to a Phoenix-area thrift store.

MSCA and the charity are giving the merchandise to Seconds2Go, a secondhand store operated by Chrysalis, a crisis center for women and children.

“MSCA is an association that strives to support the communities around us,” said David Bavisotto, chairman of the MSCA board of managers. “Through our alliance with Convoy of Hope, we hope to make a difference here in Arizona while we are here and long after.”

Bavisotto is the sales and service manager for Illingworth-Killgust Mechanical in Milwaukee.

The donation was to be made at 2 p.m. MST today. The MSCA’s 25th annual education conference takes place Sunday through Wednesday at the Hyatt Regency at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale, Ariz.
