RSES has just released a book that
says it can help members earn more money.
"Tech to Tech: An Informational Guide for HVAC/R
Technicians to Increase Their Wage" by Chris Reak focuses on personal
development so workers can learn how to increase their “value” to their employers.
“I wrote this book because I keep
hearing and reading about the low pay in the HVACR industry, and because I know
that service technicians can increase their income by incorporating a few
simple techniques to their daily duties to increase their value to their
company,” said Chris Reak.
The 80-page, 13-chapter manual includes
information on showing value through certification, knowing products and
payments, service agreements and call-backs.
“This manual is written by a tech
for a tech making it easy to understand, relate to and ultimately implement, “said
RSES operators director Renee Tomlinson.
