Lighting tool maker Streamlight Inc. has received the 2010 American Eagle Award for Corporate Citizenship from the Industry Supply Association.

The company won the award for its support of Concerns of Police Survivors, which helps families and co-workers of fallen officers rebuild their lives.

Streamlight has supported the organization for 11 years, funding observances during National Police Week in Washington D.C., and working as program mentors.

“Giving back to the community is a top priority for Streamlight,” said company President Ray Sharra. “We are committed to COPS and its mission of helping those who’ve lost a loved one or colleague in the line of duty.  We are very proud to support this fine organization, which helps the law enforcement community in its time of need, and we are gratified to be recognized for our efforts by the Industrial Supply Association.”
