Plasma cutting equipment maker Hypertherm introduced two consumable kits at Fabtech this week.

Plasma cutting equipment maker Hypertherm introduced two consumable kits at Fabtech this week designed for use with its Powermax systems.

The All-in-one kit, designed for handheld cutting, includes shielded, unshielded or gouging consumables depending on the version purchased.

The FineCut kit works with handheld or mechanical cutting, and includes a guide with cut charts and visual aids on torch assembly.

Both were shown at Fabtech International, which was held Sunday-Tuesday in Chicago.

“Powermax systems are the ideal tool for a variety of applications. These All-in-one and FineCut kits demonstrate the added versatility of the systems for cutting in tight places, bevel cutting, gouging and precision cutting on thin plate,” said Clayton Gould, product marketing manager for Hypertherm’s torch and consumables group. “Genuine Hypertherm consumables ensure Powermax systems offer the versatility and performance making it the only tool people need, regardless of the job they have to do.”
